Description

The Frank A. Weidman Fund was established at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide funds for graduates of Pittsburgh Public Schools to complete college and university studies in the arts and social sciences. Applicants must be graduating high school seniors attending one of the following Pittsburgh public high schools: Allderdice High School; Barack Obama Academy of International Studies (Obama Academy); Brashear High School; Carrick High School; Perry High School; Pittsburgh Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA); Pittsburgh Science and Technology Academy (SciTech); Pittsburgh Westinghouse Academy; or University Preparatory School at Milliones (U Prep/Pittsburgh Milliones). They must be pursuing a degree in the Arts or Social Sciences (Anthropology, Economics, History, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology).
