Fulbright-Palacky University Distinguished Scholar, with an application deadline in September, offers 2 awards of $7500 each.

Description

The Fulbright-Palacky University Distinguished Scholar will have the opportunity to teach a maximum of two courses (maximum three hours) a week at advanced undergraduate and graduate levels; consult on curriculum development and discuss the topic of specialization with faculty; and engage in research cooperation. The award is open to all the fields offered at the Palacky University. Ph.D. (or other terminal degree) is required. Senior Academics, Mid-career Academics with at least seven years relevant experience and excellent performance are sought. Permanent residents of the award country are not eligible to apply for this award. An invitation letter is required. Letter of invitation should state the dates of grant, name of the host contact person/supervisor, accessibility of research facilities, and extent of other support provided. Applicants are encouraged to contact the Czech Fulbright Commission to explore possibilities of affiliation if needed. There is no language requirement, English is sufficient. However, feasibility of conducting the project must be demonstrated in the project statement. The application also requires two recommendations.
