Description

The Fulbright Postdoctoral Scholarship (funded by Deakin University) enables postdoctoral candidates from the U.S to undertake research at Deakin University for 6-10 months. Projects must be of high academic quality, align with Deakin's research strengths, and enhance U.S-Australia bilateral relations. Deakin University invites applicants from any field or discipline that aligns with Deakin's research strengths. The award is open to Early Career Academics. PhD (or other terminal Degree) is required. The award is open to applicants whose Ph.D. conferral date is within 5 years at the time of application; those with more recently conferred degrees preferred. Applicants must attain their doctorate by the proposed start date of their grant. An invitation letter is required. To discuss potential projects and negotiate a Letter of Invitation, applicants must contact Deakin Distinguished Professor Matthew Clarke, Deputy Vice-Chancellor - Research and Innovation. All applicants must submit two recommendation letters. Letters should be from those who know the applicant and the applicant's work well.
