The University of Canberra has a strong commitment to integrated learning and serving its communities through professional education and applied research. The development of research areas is important to the bilateral relationship between the United States and Australia. The Fulbright Scholar Award (funded by the University of Canberra) will enable exceptional U.S. scholars to undertake research in priority areas for the University of Canberra. Other activities may include consulting on curriculum, participating in graduate/faculty seminars and giving guest lectures. All applicants should demonstrate plans for some interaction with host institution faculty and students. The University of Canberra seeks applicants in the following areas: Environment, Governance, Health, Sport, Education, and Communication. An invitation letter is required. Academic applicants must have a PhD (or other terminal degree) and have 10 or more years of experience in their field (inclusive of PhD). Applicants with less than 10 years' experience who are appropriately qualified as a senior lecturer, associate professor, or full professor, will also be considered. The application also requires two recommendations. Please visit the award's website or contact the Council for International Exchange of Scholars for more information.
