GE Honors Rising Scholar Award, with an application deadline in April, offers 10 awards of $5000 each. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The GE Honors Rising Scholar Award is open to first-time freshmen students admitted to the GE Honors Program. Students must have applied and have been accepted admission to the GE Honors Program before April 30, and they must have filed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application (CADAA) online by the March 2nd priority deadline and demonstrate financial need of at least $5,000.
