The Henry O. and Florence P. Kendall Practice Award acknowledges an individual who has made outstanding and enduring contributions to the practice of physical therapy. Nominees must be physical therapists who are current members in good standing of the association. Nominees for this award must demonstrate effect on shape, scope, and quality of physical therapist practice; effect on other physical therapists' ability to practice; effect on the development of physical therapy as a caring profession; and quality and quantity of contributions to the association. Nomination or self-nomination statement must be submitted to begin the process. Then, the nominee must submit their current curriculum vitae or resume; online application; and two support statements obtained from individuals upon whom the nominee has had an impact that specifically address one or more of the criteria for selection.
