Description

The HJCC Charitable Corporation Scholarship Fund was established in 2016 by the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce Charitable Corporation (HJCCCC) to support students seeking a degree in business related fields. The donor requires applicants to pursue a degree in Business, International Relations, Japanese Language or Japanese Studies. Applicants must be attending an accredited post-secondary educational institution located in Hawaii or the mainland U.S. Additional preferences will be given in the following order of priority: (1) Recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year.; (2) Child of an active Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce member in good standing. Children of officers and directors of Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce Charitable Corporation as of the application due date are not eligible. (3) Students who demonstrate community service.
