Description

The IADR Minimally Invasive Dentistry (MID) Network has established the IADR Minimally Invasive Dentistry (MID) Network Jeffery James Cheetham Research Award for Innovations in MID to enhance awareness of MID concepts in clinical dentistry and promote the quality of science at the IADR General Session. Scientific meeting of researchers working in the field of innovations related to MID to contribute to the optimum care for patients. Applicants must be a member of the IADR and MID Network at the time of abstract submission. Research abstracts in the field of MID related subjects with innovative strategies are eligible for this award. The abstract must be submitted for poster or oral presentation at the IADR General Session. However, the applicants will have their competition as an oral presentation in a private room during the IADR General Session. The authors must select the MID Network as that group to which the abstract should be submitted for review. Applicants must have contributed significantly to MID research for innovation. MID is a concept that can embrace all aspects of clinical dentistry. The ultimate aim is hard and soft tissue preservation, by detecting early and preventing disease from occurring. All pre-doctoral or post-doctoral students and faculty researchers, meeting the criteria outlined may apply. Past winners are not eligible for the competition again, but unsuccessful candidates can re-apply. Please visit the award's website for more information.
