Description

Legacy Scholarships are one three-credit course scholarships (tuition only) or non-credit equivalents endowed in perpetuity. These scholarships are awarded to students with a range of achievements in many fields, chosen annually according to criteria proposed by the College's academic schools and student clubs and organizations. The Ida LaSalle Memorial Legacy Scholarship is open to a BCCC student who demonstrates a strong commitment to community service. This scholarship is named after Ida LaSalle, who passed away on November 8, 1998. The beloved alumna was a member of BCCC's Cultural Diversity Club, Faith Hope and Charity Club, and the Human Rights Club.
