Description

The Irene and Daisy MacGregor Memorial Scholarship is awarded to students of high scholastic standing and character who have been accepted into or are pursuing an approved course of study to become a medical doctor at an approved accredited medical school. Pre-med, veterinarian, or physician assistant students are not eligible. This scholarship is also available to students who have been accepted into or who are pursuing an approved course of study in the field of psychiatric nursing at the graduate level at accredited medical schools, colleges, or universities. There is a preference for female applicants, if equally qualified." At least two, but not more than four recommendations must be submitted. Recommendations should convey the applicant's ability, work habits, integrity, character, potential, and volunteer activities. A copy of the applicant's proof of United States citizenship is also required: birth certificate, naturalization papers, or information page of United States Passport must be included. If using a passport as proof of citizenship, cover the photograph. Submitting an expired passport or picture of yourself will result in your application being disqualified.
