Description

The ITSS Mitzi and Prakash Nagarkatti Research Excellence in Immunotoxicology Awards are made possible by the Mitzi and Prakash Nagarkatti Research Excellence in Immunotoxicology Award Fund of the SOT Endowment Fund. This cash award will assist graduate students or postdoctoral scholars to attend the SOT Annual Meeting and present their research. Applicants need to be ITSS members; those with pending applications are also eligible to apply. The original abstract must have been submitted to the SOT Annual Meeting, and the nominee must plan to attend the meeting. Applicants must submit a letter of support from their current advisor and/or employer indicating the applicant's contributions to Immunotoxicology (or a closely related discipline) and potential future contributions to the discipline. Applicants need not be a member of SOT, but those who are members or who are in the process of becoming members will be given preferential consideration.
