Description

The James A Wharton Scholarship was established at the Community Foundation of North Central Washington in 2017 to encourage and support students entering the collision repair industry and other trades. The scholarship supports students from Chelan or Douglas County who are planning to attend or currently attending a trade school, with priority given to those who are attending auto and/or collision repair programs. Applicants may be graduating seniors, current college students, or nontraditional students returning to college later in life from Chelan or Douglas County. They must be attending a trade or vocational school or program and will be pursuing study in the trades, with preference given to auto collision. Applicants must also demonstrate a willingness to learn. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Community Foundation of North Central Washington for more information.
