Description

The John H.P. Maley Clinical Impact Lectureship Award acknowledges and honors a physical therapist who has made a significant contribution to the profession in clinical practice. Nominees must be physical therapists who are current members in good standing of the association. Nominees for this award must demonstrate a recognized and significant contribution to physical therapy in clinical practice; and acknowledged skills in the organization and presentation of written or oral communications and the ability to present a worthy lecture. A strong application should demonstrate a track record and sustained contributions in any area of clinical practice; and ability to present a noteworthy lecture. A letter of nomination that specifically focuses on the strengths of the nominee in relation to the award criteria is required. Three letters of support from individuals who can specifically address one or more of the criteria for selection must also be submitted.
