Description

The Joshua Tyree Williams Memorial Scholarship awards $1,000 to a graduating senior from one of eight designated high schools in the Texas Hill Country region. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate strong character, integrity, responsibility, and leadership. Preference is given to those affiliated with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, either as a Little or a Big, or to residents of the Arms of Hope-Medina Campus. Selection considers academic performance, extracurricular involvement, community service, and financial need. Recipients must secure full-time admission to an accredited college, university, or trade school; awards not accepted by December 31st of the award year will be forfeited.
