Kohala Ditch Educational Fund, with an application deadline in February, offers numerous awards that vary in amount. Location restrictions exist. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The Kamuela Kayak Corporation established the Kohala Ditch Educational Fund to support graduates of Kohala High School. The HCF will give preference for recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good academic standing. Preference will be given to students of Hawaiian ancestry; students who have attended Kohala High School; students attending the University of Hawaii - Hilo or Hawaii Community College; and students pursuing studies related to the fields of Hawaiian Studies, Oceanography, Agriculture or Botany.
