Description

The KTAA Young Soo Choi Student Scholarship Award offers a lump-sum scholarship to support graduate training in toxicology for Korean students. The scholarship aims to assist graduate students who demonstrate financial need and are committed to pursuing careers in toxicology. In 2008, Dr. Young Soo Choi generously contributed to the SOT Endowment Fund to establish a scholarship in her name, which awarded its first recipient in 2010. The award is open to students who were born in Korea, or if born in the United States, with one or more parents of Korean descent. The abstract must be based on the nominee's own research and accepted for presentation at the SOT Annual Meeting. To nominate a candidate, please submit a copy of the accepted abstract, personal statement, and a letter of recommendation from a direct supervisor or mentor. Please visit the award's website or contact the Society of Toxicology for more information.
