Description

The Library of American Broadcasting Foundation Award will be awarded for research in Broadcast History. The scholarship is open to graduate students at accredited institutions, preferably institutions with BEA affiliation, who are pursuing advanced degrees with a clear focus on broadcast history, media heritage, or related historical scholarship in electronic media. Applicants should demonstrate a strong academic record and the potential to contribute to the research and preservation of broadcasting history. Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation. At least one letter must be written by a college or university electronic media professor and the other may be from either a professor or an industry professional. Current scholarship holders are not eligible to reapply in the year following their award. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Broadcast Education Association for more information.
