Description

The Lightbown Family Scholarship Fund was created at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide scholarships for students from Allegheny County pursuing a career in education. Applicants must be a graduating high school senior or graduate, GED holder, or current undergraduate student. Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate financial need. Preference will also be given to applicants who have faced social, economic, or educational barriers due to systemic gender inequity. Awards are not renewable, but applicants may reapply each year they meet the eligibility criteria. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Pittsburgh Foundation for more information.
