Description

The Lindsay M. Entz Memorial Scholarship Fund is open to Jersey Shore Area High School graduating seniors who will attend an accredited institution of higher education, preferably in Pennsylvania. Applicants must plan to pursue a course of study in education. Preference, but not required, to applicants pursuing an education for children with special needs. Applicants must exhibit good citizenship, be a leader with a sense of humor, be grounded, show tolerance of others, be honest and have integrity. Applicants must also be involved in the community and make a difference in the school community. Other than a strong potential for success, such factors as class rank and grade point average will not be criteria in making a selection unless in the judgment of the selection committee such factors are needed to distinguish between multiple potential candidates.
