Description

The Lindsay M. Entz Memorial Scholarship Fund is available to Jersey Shore Area High School graduating seniors. Applicants must attend an accredited institution of higher education, preferably in Pennsylvania Plan to pursue a course of study in education. Preference, but not required, will be given to applicants pursuing an education for children with special needs. Applicants must exhibit good citizenship, be a leader with a sense of humor, be grounded, show tolerance of others, be honest and have integrity. They must be involved in the community and make a difference in the school community. Other than a strong potential for success, such factors as class rank and grade point average will not be criteria in making a selection unless in the judgment of the selection committee such factors are needed to distinguish between multiple potential candidates.
