MdNect Foreign Medical Graduate (FMG) Scholarship, with an application deadline in March, offers 3 awards of $1000 each.

Description

The MdNect Foreign Medical Graduate (FMG) Scholarship will be awarded to FMG applying for residency in the USA. The scholarship is intended to alleviate some of the financial burden on the FMG applying for residency in the USA. Applicants must be a Foreign Medical Graduate who passed all USMLE exams from the 1st attempt. They must be in the NRMP match process and must be actively applying to USA-accredited residency programs. They must submit their ERAS Resume by the deadline. It is optional for applicants to submit two letters of recommendation. Applicants must have a USA address to deliver the fund to. Two checks will be delivered to the address in the application. The winner will receive 50 percent of the fund once announced as a winner (1st check) and then will receive the second 50 percent of the fund in six months (2nd check). The winner must remain enrolled in the residency program at the time of 2nd check due date. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
