Description

The Meridian Health Care Systems Jean Marshall Scholar Award is open to RN's pursuing a master's degree or higher in nursing who meet the general eligibility requirements. Applicants must be enrolled (not waiting to hear) in a master's nursing program located in the State of New Jersey or in a nursing doctoral program or a related field, preferably located in the State of New Jersey. The dean or professor/faculty member of the applicant's program must submit a letter of support which should be included in the application. A member of the NJSNA may also apply if they are a Registered Nurse. They must provide their NJSNA membership number, and region number, include a copy of their membership card or verification, and submit their up-to-date CV or resume in their application. Scholarships are awarded based on academic performance, financial need, and leadership potential. Applications may be submitted through mail or fax, but email is preferred.
