Description

The Public Safety Officer's Survivor Grant provides an educational benefit to dependent children under age 23 (age extended to 30 for those who served on active military duty for at least 181 consecutive days and were honorably discharged or released) and the spouses of public safety officers killed in the line of duty. Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree or certificate program or a graduate degree or certificate program at an eligible institution. Student completes section A of the application. Financial aid administrator at the school completes section B. Students applying to the Public Safety Officer's Survivor Grant Program must return the completed application to the financial aid office at the school they are/will be attending. A student's application must be received by the Agency no later than the last day of classes for the academic year for which grant funds are being requested.
