Description

The MIT THINK Scholars Program is an educational outreach initiative at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology that promotes student-led innovation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. THINK accepts research project proposals from high school students across the US, providing mentorship and funding to a select few to make their idea a reality. THINK is open to all high school students with permanent residence in the United States. Students may apply by submitting a written research proposal outlining a novel science, technology, or engineering idea following the proceeding guidelines. For the 2024 competition, the THINK team will review applications in two rounds: first an initial proposal review to choose program semifinalists, and then a video interview, after which up to six finalists will be chosen. Applicants may only submit one proposal per academic year. Proposals may be written by either an individual or a group of two students. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information about the program and the required materials.
