Montgomery College's STEM Scholars Program offers numerous awards that vary in amount.

Description

Montgomery College's STEM Scholars Program offers scholarships during each fall and spring semester. Each scholarship will cover the cost of tuition for a three-, four-, or five-credit honors class in the STEM Scholars Program at the in-county rate. Students must complete at least 12 MC credits with a GPA of 3.4 or higher in transfer-level classes, including ENGL 101/101A with a grade of A or B, or they must have an SAT Math score of 650 or higher, eligibility for ENGL 102, and a minimum high school GPA of 3.5, unweighted. In addition to the above Program Eligibility requirements, students applying for the scholarship must also satisfy the following requirements during the semester for which they are applying for the scholarship: A. Enrolled in at least one honors course/module; B. Enrolled in at least six credits; C. NOT receiving another MC scholarship (Board of Trustees, Montgomery Scholars, Macklin Business Institute, etc.); D. NOT on a F1 visa.
