Description

The Norman and Jean Persons Scholarship will be awarded to active or retired marine corps personnel or graduating high school seniors whose parent(s) is active or retired marine corps, and/or be young adults in San Diego County (to age 25) who are or had been in the foster care system. Applicants must plan to attend or are currently attending a two-year college, public four-year college/university, or licensed trade/vocational school in the United States at least part-time, preferably full-time. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED if they are not a current high school senior. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the San Diego Foundation for more information.
