Northern Michigan University Wildcat Merit Scholarship offers numerous awards of $4000 each. Location restrictions exist.

Description

The Northern Michigan University Wildcat Merit Scholarships will be automatically awarded to admitted students who meet the GPA, enrollment term, and residency criteria. No application is necessary. The scholarship will be awarded based on academic record to students entering Fall 2025, Winter 2026 or Summer 2026. Students may receive $1,500 per year if they have a GPA of 3.0-3.24; $2,000 per year if they have a GPA of 3.25-3.49; $2,500 per year if they have a GPA of 3.50-3.74; $3,000 per year if they have a GPA of 3.75-3.89; and $4,000 per year if they have a GPA of 3.9 or higher. Students may receive scholarships for up to 8 consecutive semesters, or until completion of first bachelor's degree, whichever comes first.
