Northwestern Mutual Childhood Cancer Sibling Scholarship, with an application deadline in February, offers 25 awards of $5000 each. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

Northwestern Mutual Foundation has established a scholarship program to assist siblings of individuals who are in current treatment, have survived or passed away from childhood cancer who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs. Applicants must submit an Affidavit, signed by Parent or Legal Guardian, confirming their status as a sibling of someone who is currently in treatment, has survived or passed away from childhood cancer. Applicants must be high school seniors or graduates, or current postsecondary undergraduates, who plan to enroll in the United States for the entire upcoming academic year. Awards may be renewed for up to one year or until a bachelor's degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Employees and children of employees of Northwestern Mutual Foundation Inc. and The Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company (and any of its affiliates and subsidiaries) are ineligible to apply.
