The Ralph and Irene Gray Scholarship for Brunswick, NE was established in 2012 after the death of Irene. Ralph was born in Page and Irene was born in Brunswick. On Aug. 17, 1945, Irene married her longtime musical associate, Ralph Gray, superintendent of schools at Inman. With Irene's vocal music skills and Ralph being an accomplished band instructor, they literally made beautiful music together for the next 54 years. Applicants for this scholarship must be a graduating senior or undergraduate who is a resident of Brunswick, NE, planning to attend a 2- or 4-year college.
