The Richard H. Pierce Memorial Scholarship was established in honor of MES founder, Dick Pierce who passed away in 2011. It was Dick's life-long commitment to promote higher education. Scholarships are awarded based on merit and financial need, with the goal of assisting students who might not otherwise continue their post-secondary education without the financial assistance. Scholarships are awarded on a renewable basis for up to 4 years, depending on the grade level of the student. Applicants must be entering their first year of post-secondary education and intend to enroll or be enrolled in college or university, which is accredited by the Association of Schools and Colleges. Applicants must show a strong desire to complete the degree program. Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence through the content of their transcript, GPA and SAT. They must also provide their contributions to school, community, and/or work environment. Two letters of recommendation are also required. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
