Roger W. Emmons Memorial Scholarship, with an application deadline in March, offers numerous awards that vary in amount.

Description

The Roger W. Emmons Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to students who must be children or grandchildren of owners or employees, employed for more than 3 years, of companies which are regular members of the Oregon Refuse and Recycling Association (ORRA). The scholarship is open to all majors, including students pursuing a CTE (Career and Technical Education) major. Students may attend any 1, 2- or 4-year, public or private, nonprofit or for-profit, or accredited vocational/trade, Title IV postsecondary school in the United States. Oregon residency is not required. The scholarship is automatically renewable if renewal criteria are met. February 15 is the Early Bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all materials to be submitted to OSAC.
