Description

The St. Vrain Habitat for Humanity Scholarship provides a renewable $5,000 award to support higher education for individuals seeking to improve their employment opportunities. Eligible applicants must be current or former homeowners with Habitat for Humanity St. Vrain Valley, or an immediate family member (spouse or child) of one. The scholarship may be used at any accredited junior college, college, or university, and covers tuition, fees, required books and supplies, room and board, and other direct educational expenses, with funds disbursed across academic terms. One recipient is selected annually, with the possibility of renewal for up to three additional years if criteria are met. Applications must include a high school or college transcript with fall grades, a resume, an essay, and recommendation letters.
