Description

The Sterbenz-Ryan Scholarship was established in 2016 by local businessmen Richard Sterbenz and Martin Ryan who wanted to "give kids like them a shot at life they never had".Scholarships will be offered to eligible traditional and non-traditional students who otherwise may not have the opportunity to attend a public post-secondary school due to challenging life circumstances beyond their peers and high financial need. Applicants may be graduating seniors or non-traditional students seeking scholarships for any public college in eligible states. Applicants must live in eligible counties in Minnesota or Wisconsin or be a student seeking a scholarship to attend Century College, Metropolitan State University or Northwood Technical College.
