The February One Scholarship

Description

The February One Scholarship is open to very high-achieving students in an environment where intellectual curiosity is stimulated and conducive to in-depth and engaged learning. Leaders are empowered to grow and develop professionally and social consciousness and service to society is used to influence the world for the better. The student must be a competitive applicant for admission as a freshman in the fall semester into a baccalaureate program at NC A&T. Students must be on course to graduate from high school in the spring semester prior to college admission. They must pursue an undergraduate degree program within the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, the College of Education, or the College of Health and Human Sciences. They must also embody the characteristics of the A&T Four through exceptional qualities of character and leadership, be significantly involved in extracurricular activities, and demonstrate a strong commitment to service. Applications for enrollment will not require the ACT/SAT in entry into the Honors College; however, applicants will be reviewed holistically to include a completed application, essays, transcript evaluation, extracurricular involvement, letters of recommendation, and interview (if applicable).
