The Reverend Servio R. Moscoso Foundation Scholarship, with an application deadline in March, offers numerous awards of $2000 each. Ethnicity requirements apply. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The Reverend Servio R. Moscoso Foundation Scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior attending school in the NY, NJ, or CT area. They must have 80 recorded hours of community service and planning to register as a college student for the Fall of 2025. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid Arrival-Departure Record (I-94) from the Department of Homeland Security showing any of the following designations: Refugee, Asylum Granted, Indefinite Parole, Humanitarian Parole, or Cuban-Haitian Entrant to apply. The scholarship may be used at any degree-granting four-year college within the United States. Recipients may study any academic discipline of their choice. Three letters of recommendation must be submitted. Two of these should be written by the applicant's high school counselor, teacher, or principal. The third letter may be submitted by someone who knows the applicant well and can attest to their character, leadership ability, commitment to community service, and/or academic achievement. This may include an employer, mentor, or coach. It cannot be your mother, father, guardian, or family member. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
