Tri-County EMC $250 Scholarships, with an application deadline in March, offers numerous awards of $250 each. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The Tri-County EMC $250 Scholarships will be awarded to students who will be attending a community college, junior college, vocational or technical school. Applicants must be a high school graduating senior. Applicants must be a child of a Tri-County Electric member; or live in a home served by Tri-County Electric; or attend a high school in Tri-County EMC's service territory: Charles B. Aycock, Eastern Wayne, Wayne School of Technical Arts, Wayne School of Engineering, Wayne Early College, Rosewood, Southern Wayne, Spring Creek, East Duplin, Duplin Early College, James Kenan, North Duplin, North Lenoir, or South Lenoir. Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation. Applicants must be willing to be interviewed by the committee, if necessary, and attend the scholarship banquet.
