Description

The Vertical Aviation/WAI Maintenance Technician Certificate Scholarship will be awarded to those who are in training to become aviation maintenance technicians. Applicants must already be enrolled in a maintenance technician certificate program at an FAA-approved Part 147 school or international equivalent. Applicants who expect to receive their maintenance technician certificates prior to January 1, 2026, are ineligible to apply for this award. All applicants must be current WAI members with an expiration date of March 30, 2026 or later. Applicants must also submit two letters of recommendation. Letters should not be from family members.
