Description

The William A. Crawford Minority Teacher Scholarship will be awarded to students who are residents of an underserved county. If selected, students must agree in writing to apply for a teaching position at a school in an underserved county and, if hired, teach in an underserved county for at least three years. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen. They must be admitted or already attending an eligible institution. Applicants must pursue or intend to pursue a course of study that would enable the student, upon graduation, to teach in an underserved county in Indiana. The student must be a first-time undergraduate student and maintain the cumulative grade point average (GPA) required for admission to the institution's school of education. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Indiana Commission for Higher Education for more information.
