Wyoming Farm Bureau Federation Scholarships, with an application deadline in March, offers 5 awards of $500 each. Location restrictions exist. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The Wyoming Farm Bureau Federation Scholarships will be awarded to a Wyoming high school graduate; a Spring 2026 Wyoming high school graduating senior; or a Wyoming resident who, at the time of application submission, has successfully completed or will successfully complete their final semester of academic curriculum with a home school, charter school, virtual school, or GED program. At the time the scholarship is granted, the applicant must be enrolled to attend The University of Wyoming; a Wyoming junior college; a Wyoming trade school; or an accredited virtual college or university as long as the student is a Wyoming resident and lives in Wyoming. The applicant must be entering a postsecondary education program for the first time after completing their secondary education program. If an applicant is 21 years or younger at the time of applying, they must be a current member or have an immediate family member (parent or guardian) who is a current member of a Wyoming County Farm Bureau Federation. If an applicant is 22 years or older at the time of applying, they must be a current member of a Wyoming County Farm Bureau Federation. Applicants must submit at least three current letters of recommendation (6 months or newer) describing their educational ability, character, and financial need. Recommendations may come from any of the following (but only one recommendation from each category): Farm Bureau Federation Leader, Farm Bureau Federation Member, Farm Bureau Agent, School Teacher or School Administrator, Community Leader, Church Leader, or Employer.
