Yamboree Empowerment Scholarship YES for Women, with an application deadline in March, offers numerous awards of $5000 each. Location restrictions exist. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The Yamboree Empowerment Scholarship YES for Women will be awarded to a graduating high school senior from a public high school located in Upshur County in East Texas or a resident of Upshur County attending a public high school located outside Upshur County. Students may attend any accredited college or university in the United States. Applicants must submit two references, one reference must have had in classroom experience with the applicant. Applicants must also submit a list of extracurricular and community service activities including hours, week, and year involved.
