Description

The AES Hawaii Scholarship Fund - Kauai was created in 2022. The purpose of the fund is to provide scholarship grants to students seeking higher education for those interested in majoring in fields that support renewable energy and sustainable environments. The donor requires applicants to be a student pursuing a degree that may include a focus on or leading to a career in sustainable or renewable energy. Applicants are also required to be a student from Kauai Island. Preference will be given to recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good academic standing. Preference will also be given to residents of Lawai: 96741, 96756, 96765 and residents of West Kauai Energy Project (WKEP)/Kekaha: 96752.
