Description

The African American Volkswagen Employees' Scholarship Fund was established at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide scholarships to persons who have been disproportionately affected by systemic barriers to educational achievement, which shall include but not be limited to, members of the plaintiff class and former employees of Volkswagen of America, New Stanton PA. Applicants must be a graduating high school senior or graduate, GED holder, or current undergraduate. Preference will be given to applicants who have been disproportionately affected by systemic barriers to educational achievement. This award is not renewable, but applicants may reapply each year they meet the eligibility criteria. Awards will be granted for undergraduate study only.
