Description

The Albert and Dorothy Shigekuni Scholarship Fund was created in 2013. It is the intention and desire of the donors that the Fund be used to provide scholarship grants. Preference will be given to recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year. The HCF requires applicants to be in good academic standing or by maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0. The donor requires applicants to have a minimum GPA of 3.1. Applicants must enroll at a University of Hawaii System school. Preference will be given to students who will pursue one semester or one year study abroad program through the University of Hawaii System. Preference will also be given to students who have not traveled outside of Hawaii. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Hawai'i Community Foundation for more information.
