Aster Contractors Foundation Scholarship, with an application deadline in October, offers numerous awards of $5000 each. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

Aster Contractors Foundation believes in the power of education and its ability to change lives for the better. The Aster Contractors Foundation Scholarship is designed to enable our contractors and their families to pursue their goals. Candidates must be Aster employees who have been employed for a minimum of one continuous year as of the application deadline; or the employee's spouse, partner, children (including adopted and step-children), or other dependents. Other dependents include grandchildren, nieces, nephews, or others for whom the employee is acting in the role of parent or guardian. Documentation may be required. Candidates must attend an accredited two- or four-year college or university; certification, career, or technical program; or graduate program in the United States. Candidates may pursue any field of study; however, preference will be given to students enrolled in construction-related fields. Applicants must submit a volunteer or work letter of recommendation and an academic letter of recommendation.
