Description

The Betty Hansen Continuing Education/Cultural Heritage Grant will be awarded to students who must be enrolled less than full-time at an educational, accredited, or approved school. They must be enrolled in a course, workshop, or seminar; or in a seminar or language class relating to Danish culture or heritage. Grade point average is not required. First time applicants will be given priority consideration over previous grant winners. Applicants must be: a Danish Sisterhood member in good standing in the sponsoring lodge; a Danish Sisterhood member initiated for a minimum of one year prior to the scholarship application deadline; or the daughter/son of a Danish Sisterhood member as mentioned before; or the daughter/son of a Danish Sisterhood member who was in good standing at the time of her death.
