Description

The Broome and Allen Scholarship will be awarded to students pursuing academic research, with a priority given to those who will be utilizing ASF's National Sephardic Library and Archives at The Center for Jewish History and/or creating a project that will result in a publication (article, book, or film). Applicants must be students of Sephardic ancestry who are pursuing professions that benefit the community and humanity. The Broome and Allen Fund offers scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students of Sephardi heritage and/or those who are pursuing Sephardic Studies. Each recipient of a Broome and Allen Scholarship is part of an elite group from three continents who were recognized on account of their outstanding scholarship and service to their community. Today, the American Sephardi Foundation is proud to continue awarding fellowships and scholarships in recognition of impressive academic accomplishments, to encourage future excellence in the field of Sephardi Studies, and support service on behalf of the Sephardic community. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the American Sephardi Foundation for more information.
