Eligibility

Byers Family Foundation Scholarship, with an application deadline in March, offers numerous awards of $1000 each. Location restrictions exist. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The Byers Family Foundation Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior who will attend any accredited college or university in the United States. Applicants must demonstrate excellent moral character and leadership. A preference will be given to applicants who desire to live and work in East Texas upon graduation. Applicants must submit two references, one reference must have had in classroom experience with the applicant. Applicants must also submit a list of extracurricular and community service activities including hours, week, and year involved.
