Carol Stevens Doyle Scholarship, with an application deadline in February, offers numerous awards of $1300 each.

Description

The Carol Stevens Doyle Scholarship shall be awarded to a collegian member of Alpha Gamma-Ohio State University who will pursue an undergraduate degree during the academic year for which the scholarship is awarded. Should no applicants meet the first criteria, the scholarship shall be awarded to any collegian initiate or affiliate member of a college chapter in the state of Ohio who will pursue an undergraduate degree during the academic year for which the scholarship is awarded. Should no applicants meet the first and second criteria, the scholarship shall be awarded to any collegian member of the Fraternity who will pursue an undergraduate degree during the academic year for which the scholarship is awarded. In the event Alpha Gamma is disestablished and ceases to exist, unless and until Alpha Gamma is re-established, the scholarship shall be awarded to a collegian or alumna member of Alpha Gamma who is qualified under the Foundation's then-current general scholarship criteria. Should no members of Alpha Gamma qualify, the scholarship shall be awarded to any collegian or alumna member of a college chapter in the state of Ohio who is qualified under the Foundation's then-current general scholarship criteria. Should no member of a college chapter in the state of Ohio qualify, the scholarship shall be awarded to any collegian or alumna member of the Fraternity who is qualified under the Foundation's then-current general scholarship criteria. A recommendation from a member of Kappa Alpha Theta and a recommendation from an academic or professional reference are required.
