Charles and Dorothy Greenblatt Scholarship, with an application deadline in February, offers numerous awards that vary in amount. Location restrictions exist. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The Charles and Dorothy Greenblatt Scholarship will be awarded to students who have been Waterbury residents for five years or more, and attending a non-sectarian college. This scholarship may be renewable. First-time applicants must have a FAFSA Student Aid Index (SAI) below $40,000. Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher, employer, clergy member, guidance counselor, or other community member who they think can best speak to their character, achievements, and potential. Recommendations from relatives or friends are not admissible. There is a different application link for students applying for the first-time and students applying to renew their scholarship. Scholarship renewal applications are due by January 15, 2026. First-time applications are due by February 17, 2026.
