Claudia K. Salewske Memorial Scholarship, with an application deadline in March, offers numerous awards of $3000 each.

Description

The Claudia K. Salewske Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to graduating high school seniors from Gilroy High School, Christopher High School, or Mt. Madonna High School, in Gilroy, California. They must be accepted to a four-year college or university, and matriculate in the fall following graduation. They must have a planned course of study in English, English Literature, or Creative Writing and/or a planned course of study in elementary or secondary education. Preference will be given to outstanding seniors who plan to become teachers or educators. Three letters of recommendation are required.
