Is there a fee to create a scholarship?

Nope! You donate the funds for your scholarship and that’s it. No extra charges to create, manage, and promote your scholarship on our platform.

What types of payment can I use to fund my scholarship?

You can easily transfer funds using ACH payments. It may take up to 5 business days to process. You can easily transfer funds using ACH payments. It may take up to 5 business days to process.

Is there a minimum and maximum donation per scholarship?

We accept award amounts between $500 – $5,000 per scholarship. If you would like to donate over $5,000, please set up your donation as multiple scholarships. For example, if you want to donate $10,000, you may set it up as two $5,000 scholarships.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

No, scholarships created on our platform are currently not tax deductible.

Who will receive my scholarship donation?

Your donation will go directly to the recipient’s college, ensuring that the student uses the funds for education expenses.

How are winners selected?

All of our scholarships are based on a sweepstakes model. That means winners are selected at random at the end of each month. Our team will manage the selection process to ensure fairness and will notify winners.

Can I create a scholarship for a specific cause?

Absolutely. You can tailor your scholarship to promote a cause you care about—whether it’s STEM education or another meaningful focus.

Keep in mind all winners are selected randomly, even if your scholarship promotes a specific theme. Our team reviews every scholarship and may reject any that doesn’t meet our guidelines outlined in our donor agreement.

Can I set up a recurring scholarship?

Yes, you may schedule your scholarship to run monthly, up to a maximum of 12 months.

How long are scholarships open to students?

All scholarships run for one-month increments, starting on the first day of the month and ending on the last day of the month.

Can corporations or non-profits create scholarships through this platform?

Currently, we are only servicing scholarships created by individuals, but we're working on unlocking functionality for organizations in the near future. If you're interested and want us to notify you when this becomes available, please contact us.
